Fiction and non-fiction suitable for visually impaired readers.
Fiction and non fiction titles on tape or CD. These are free of charge for those who are registered with the library as having physical disabilities and who are unable to use the general book collection. Other customers can borrow these for $3.00 for 3 weeks.
The collection also has Talking Books on loan from National Library available to those on the libraries' disabilities register. This collection is replaced monthly.
Material for those with English as a second language or adults new to reading. The collection contains high interest fiction and non fiction titles in simplified English. Book and tapes sets are also available.
A selection of block buster titles — books and magazines. Best seller books cost $4.00 for 2 weeks and Best seller magazines are $2.00 for 1 week.
