We are looking for 15 -18 staff. The successful applicants will be responsible for processing special needs grants, advances and transition to work applications only. They will get one weeks training at our Lower Hutt Training Suite and then allocated to specific service centres across the Wellington Region. The interested applicants will need to provide the following information for consideration: Updated CV Covering letter briefly outlining your experience in customer service We have organised a special session for Refugee and Migrant Job Seekers this Friday where we will provide an overview of the role, Work and Income operations and opportunity for interested applicants to ask questions about the process. Once applicants have been shortlisted there will be an interview (looking for customer service experience, understanding client needs, effective communication, ability to manage conflict, basic comprehension and experience of computing systems). The Youth Councils annual $300ships are taking place over the next month. Forms will be available as of Friday 30th October from Kapiti Coast District Council, Colleges, Kapiti Youth Support and Alternative Education Providers. These forms must be handed back to Council by 4.00pm Friday 14th November. Once the forms are returned the Youth Council will arrange interviews with selected applicants to shortlist. These interviews will take place on November 19th & 20th. Winners of the $300ships will be awarded their money on Monday 30th November.
